ART / A SEA TRILOGY / PART II:I And Bodies Deforming

This sculpture brings me a mixture of joy, pain, and compassion. I’m drawn to explore the duality between strength and vulnerability. It has been a recurring theme in my art. Attempts to visualize and display positions and states that can be hard to define in other ways. The streamline position is a traditional position of strength, yet this diver is marked by vulnerability.

The sculpture is in the dimensions of 34×8×4 cm and made of earthenware, color pigments, gold, and shoe wax. This is part II:I of A Sea Trilogy: https://www.mariauhlin.se/a-sea-trilogy/
